It is another beautiful day in Scranton and newly acquired Russ Ortiz will be on the mound. He will not have Francisco Cervelli to throw to, however, since a hand injury has sidelined him. Chris Stewart will fill in.

In the 2nd, walk, balk, hit put Ortiz in a jam, but he wiggled off the hook this time with 2 infield pops and a fly ball.

A bases loded, 2 out RBI single by Chris Stewart and SWB takes the early lead. Juan Miranda was thrown out trying to score from second to end the inning.

The Yanks scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 3rd on doubles by Pena, Miranda, and de Caster, and an RBI single by Austin Jackson.

SWB added a run in the 8th on a double by Yurendell de Caster and an RBI single by John Rodriguez. Edwar came on in the 9th and made things interesting by allowing a single and a double, but preserved the shutout. SWB takes the Iron Pigs 6-0.
