Scranton & Trenton both had the nights off.

The lone game was played in Tampa, where Shaeffer Hall threw five shutout innings and Zolio Almonte contributed two hits and drove in a run as Tampa defeated Dunedin, 3-0, in Game 1.

Bradley Suttle hit a solo home run to help out the cause.

Hall, who was 11-7 with a 2.89 ERA between Charleston & Tampa this season, allowed three hits, walked three, and struck out four. The soft-tossing left-hander won’t be on any prospect lists this coming off-season, but he did have a strong season. We’ll see if his stuff translates at the upper levels.

Chase Whitely struck out the side in the 8th to help preserve the lead.
