Scranton:

They evened their series with a 5-4 victory, as they belted three home runs off of former teammate Zach McAllister.

Chad Huffman hit one of the home runs and contributed two runs batted in to the winning effort. Justin Christian went 3-for-4 with a solo home run.

David Phelps started, going six innings while allowing three runs on five hits. He walked four, struck out four, and allowed a home run. ———————- Trenton:

A nice, tidy 1-0 victory in 12 innings for the Thunder tonight.

Andy Pettitte started and pitched the first four innings.

Pettitte was outshone by Adam Warren, however. Warren threw six innings, allowing three hits while walking two and striking out 10 in the victory. Not that he had a poor strikeout rate prior to getting to Trenton, but the Ks have really spiked since he reached the Eastern League. He has really jumped up the charts this season.

Justin Snyder went 2-for-5 while Daniel Brewer contributed a hit. Austin Romine went 0-for-5.

They scored the game winner on a home run by organizational catcher Rene Rivera.
