*Matt Duran: *2-for-3, 2 2B (11), 5 RBI – 4th round pick in 2011 is hitting .228/.275/.317 in 189 AB. Put up a .300 OPS in June; .488 in July; and now has a .803 in August. 19-year old third baseman. *Daniel Lopez: *2-for-4, 2 RS – A raw talent with exceptional speed, Lopez hit .327/.413/.490 with 27 steals in 30 attempts for the GCL squad in 2011 (also played very briefly for Charleston). This season, he is hitting .232/.306/.271 with a perfect 8-for-8 stolen base record. A prospect to watch. *Taylor Dugas: *1-for-4, 2 RS, BB – .317/.463/.381 in 189 AB. *Claudio Custodio: *2-for-4, 2 RBI, RS, BB – .254/.304/.359 with 11 steals in 12 attempts for the 21-year old middle infielder.

*Evan Rutckyj: *5 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 2 K (3.86 ERA; 72.1 IP, 77 H, 37 R, 31 ER, 3 HR, 33 BB, 60 K) – Main goal this year was to get some innings under his belt, and that is accomplished. He has 96.1 between here and Charleston. Second consecutive start without an earned run allowed (pitched 6 scoreless in previous start)
